The Lonely Shining God : Goblin - Drama Review

A lifetime of thousand years, a love equally long and strong; a sad love. Indeed that seemed to be the theme of this show, and till the last second it rang true.
It has been a really long time a Korean drama has moved me the way Goblin did, and even after the show has finished, I think It will take me a while to say goodbye. *applause *

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo - Drama Review

What a cute filled, cute worthy, cute-squealing... cute drama. Of course there are other notable things happening here, but the cute just takes it all. The show, took me for a ride with all its emotional ups and down; but my mind comes back to the cute. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Book Joo , thank you for this unabashed display of affection that made our days more sunny and bright!

One Stop Reviews 2016

Normally, I would dedicate an entire post to reviews, but since most of the dramas mentioned below finished ages ago, and also due to my own personal back-log... well lets just say being lazy has its ups and downs.

Onwards then..

Dear My Friends:

This drama... I can't even begin talking about it without tearing up. As 2016 came to a close, I was scrolling for a show that will kick me straight at the heart , and found this beauty. Well, its a Noh Kyung Hee show, of course there will be tears. A tale about friendship that shows a whole new view, as our ladies they all come with several years worth of stories and baggage behind them. Some of them have it awful, while others see an occasional ray of sunshine. With a cast and story set on old folks, you would expect a lot of death talk and even*gasp, tears* death. But, let me assure they are quite few and come with interesting plot twists. So go on, have your heart moved, with these lovely ladies and their life, which looks over but has just began with a bang.
Oh and there is a beautiful Jo In Sung lurking about too, in case some of y'all need a incentive.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart : Ryeo :

First of all, Kudos to adapting this drama with Korean history and also maintaining the facts right. That needs to be appreciated. Besides that, well
.. just take in the pleasure of soaking in Lee Jun Ki acting in another seaguk, where he does more than what the drama/role does for him. Enuf said.!

Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds:

Okay, so I found this series really enjoyable( or I may be biased with Park Bo Gum) but it didnt resonate with me or make me actually care for it. It was fluff and cute , while that's not a bad thing, its not enough to carry a seaguk.
Or I might just be pissed off because they messed up the facts here. #Historyrules

Uncontrollably Fond - Drama Review

The last two episodes left me de-hydrated. I cried buckets and for executing those intense emotions from me alone, I am ready to forgive this drama. It was so promising when it began then turned into this, head-spinning, curse inducing mess that robbed all its initial splendor.

Doctors - One Stop Drama Review

When they said Park Shin Hye was playing a badass doctor, I was up and ready for the drama. After many weeks of melo dramatic female leads, this character was a sure spark. I had to keep telling that to myself three episodes down the drama, for mere baddassery didnt swoop in to save the day.

Cheese in the Trap - One Stop Drama Review

The new entrant to the " Started awesome but... finished with a WTH" list.
That pretty much sums my feeling for this drama. I am too hurt by its let down to even talk about it.
Here's to never try to experiment with good materials again.
Cheese... you were such a tease but the end was more bland than imagined.

Oh My Venus - One Stop Drama Review

Happy New Year to all. Hope this year, the drama gods shall bless all of us with some amazing air-time and squee worthy shows. Judging from the line up we have in the coming months, I'll say the chances are pretty high.

Oh My Venus ended few weeks ago, and though this review is late, I just had to share my heartfelt love for the series.
